Monica Mason took over Hear-Again Hearing Center in 2012. Since then, she has dedicated her passion and energy to bringing the good people of Cuyahoga Falls and beyond the gift of better hearing.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Akron in 1999, Monica returned to the U of A to receive her Masters of Audiology in 2002. She has since been licensed to practice in the state of Ohio by the Ohio Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology and has attained her Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
As an active member of both the American Academy of Audiology and the Ohio Academy of Audiology, Monica stays up to date on the newest technologies and innovations in hearing devices. She also attends numerous hours of continuing education and seminars. Her training and dedication to her profession and her patients surpasses that of many others in her field.
Once you get to know Monica it’s easy to understand why she was drawn to this profession. She is truly a people person. Always kind, considerate, and eager to help, it’s hard to find a health care professional as compassionate as she. The chance to help others is her favorite part of the job. To her, there’s no reward quite like placing a hearing aid on a patient for the first time and seeing the expression on their face as they come to realization of how much they may have been missing out on. Their gratitude surpasses any financial gain an audiologist could ever achieve. Monica is more than just an audiologist to her patients; she is a friend as well.
Running Hear-Again Hearing Center can be a handful, but somehow Monica still finds time to spend with family and friends. When she’s not involved with her local church’s activities like teaching Sunday School or Vacation Bible School, Monica can be found spending quality time with her husband Brad and their 2 wonderful sons.
